We’re Back!  Thank you for your patience during the shutdown as we communicated via email.  Please use this site to keep up to date on all things LEMS.

Another busy week at LEMS. This week the students participated in a card writing project, Letters to Loved Ones, in support of ACS.  They also investigated energy through plants/nutrition and energy. Our ELA classes worked on Non-Fiction reading while concentrating on main idea.

A big thank you to Nurse Angie for planning and coordinating the Influenza Immunization event for the staff and students.  Everyone did GREAT! Very few tears, mainly from staff😊

Ms. Nina continues to have “lunch bunch” meetings with the various grades and beginning on Tuesday, she will partner with Nurse Angie on an anti-bullying series with our middle schoolers.

Thank you to the PTSO for the coordination of Picture Day.  Everyone brought their smiles and Sunday best.

Good luck to Kodi and Remington as they start new adventures, you will be missed.

Enjoy your short week next week as you enjoy your Thanksgiving festivities. Remember all we have to be thankful for. See you back December 1.

Have a great week!

Thank you for participating in the flu clinic!

A huge thank you to all the families who participated in our recent community flu clinic. Our Lions showed incredible support for one another, demonstrating wonderful care and kindness.

As we head into the holiday and travel season, germs tend to spread quickly. We continue to encourage:

  • Frequent handwashing to stop the spread of germs.
  • Staying home if your child is feeling ill.

Please note the flu shot is required for school attendance. The deadline for submitting documentation of the flu shot is December 1st.

If you attended the flu clinic at the Garrison headquarters and did not receive a copy of your documentation, please email me at angelica.lopez@dodea.edu

I will coordinate with the Public Health Nurse in Vicenza to help you request that documentation.

Thank you for your ongoing support in keeping our school and community healthy!

A circular badge with a white edge and the text "National School Public Relations Association". The inner circle has a blue background with the text "Publications and Digital Media Excellence Award". The bottom of the badge has a ribbon with the year 2025 in the middle of it, and just below this ribbon it has the text "Award of Merit Website".

We’re excited to share that DoDEA has won the National School Public Relations Association (NSPRA) Publications and Digital Media Excellence Award – Website Award of Merit for our School Newsletters Project! This NSPRA award honors outstanding school communication efforts that help connect schools with their communities. This wouldn’t have been possible without the dedication of our amazing school webmasters. Thank you for keeping families connected with your hard work and heart!
