LEMS Students Perform Alice in Wonderland for Parents and Darby Community

The students of Livorno Elementary and Middle School (PreK–8) recently brought the whimsical world of Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland to life in a vibrant and imaginative school play that showcased not only their acting talents but also their creativity behind the scenes.
Under the inspiring direction of drama teacher Ms. Boyanowski, students took full ownership of the production. Beyond performing on stage, they were deeply involved in every aspect of the play’s creation — from set design and audio/visual coordination to costume creation and musical playlist curation.
Ms. Boyanowski’s leadership was instrumental in empowering students to take the reins. She encouraged them to be creative thinkers and problem solvers, giving them a voice in how the play would unfold and the autonomy to bring their ideas to life.
The performance was met with enthusiastic applause from parents and community members who gathered to enjoy the show. The event not only highlighted the students’ artistic talents but also underscored the power of collaborative learning and student-led creativity.
